About Euphoria Score

What it is, why it exists, and where it is going

What is Euphoria Score?

Euphoria Score is a platform for tracking market overheating conditions. It produces daily composite scores that estimate whether a given market is entering euphoric, speculative territory based on a combination of quantitative signals.

Each score module targets a specific market or asset class and combines relevant metrics into a single reading from 0 to 100. The higher the score, the more speculative excess the model detects.

Why Does It Exist?

Market tops are rarely obvious in the moment. Individual metrics can give useful signals, but the real picture emerges when you combine multiple data points: derivatives positioning, sentiment, capital rotation, and macro conditions.

Euphoria Score exists to synthesize these signals into a clear, daily reading that anyone can check. It provides a structured way to answer: “How speculative are conditions right now?”

Why Bitcoin First?

Bitcoin has the deepest derivatives markets, the most liquid orderbooks, and the longest history of boom/bust cycles driven by speculative excess. It is the natural starting point for a euphoria indicator.

The Bitcoin Euphoria Score combines funding rates, open interest, dominance shifts, altcoin relative performance, sentiment indexes, social activity, and macro risk signals. Together, these paint a comprehensive picture of market temperature.

A Market Regime Tool

Euphoria Score is a market regime indicator. It measures the intensity of speculative behavior across multiple dimensions. It does not predict exact tops, and it is not a trading signal.

Historically, sustained readings above 85 have preceded significant market corrections. However, euphoria can persist for weeks or months before mean reversion occurs. Use the score as one input among many in your risk management framework.

What Comes Next

Euphoria Score is designed as a multi-module platform. Future models may include Ethereum, altcoin markets, AI stocks, and broader equity sectors. Each module will have its own methodology, metrics, and thresholds tailored to the specific market it tracks.

Euphoria Score is provided for informational purposes only. It is not financial advice. Past patterns do not guarantee future results. Always do your own research.
